About the CampCamp Re-Creation is a week-long residential camp for developmentally disabled adults. Each camper is assigned his own counselor for one-on-one interaction 22 hours a day. Find out about the camp goals and objectives. On the Saturday before the beginning of camp each of the counselors is given a whole day of instruction on skills needed to be a good team member. Here is an guideline of what they learn. Camp Re-Creation is operated by Catholic Charities, Inc. 1506 Brookhollow Dr., Suite 112, Santa Ana, CA 92705Camp is not the only project that Catholic Charities sponsors. There are many volunteer opportunities year round.

Camper e-mail
During the camp, many parents sent e-mail to their campers. These e-mails were printed out and distributed along with the postal mail. Over a hundred e-mail messages from were handled during the week.
